Information Security Statement

The Information Security Statement is published to protect the Ministry's network and information against any internal and external threats and to provide a safe environment for the users’ access to public information and to benefit from electronic means and services at the highest security and managerial level of the Ministry.

In this document, the implementation how-to and security control measures on the Internet and all parts of the Ministry's Portal are collected and over time there will be edited the mentioned points or some more will be added with the changes made in the structure and/or development of various sections.

In this regard, the Ministry is committed to comply with some of the main issues as follows:

Implementing the information security management system according to the Standards requirements

Providing the necessary infrastructure to prevent any cyber threat

Checking the security of software, applications, and web services designed and used

Accurate identification and definition of user access levels

Training and providing security tips for employees related to cyberspace:

1) Reporting hack, failure and divulgence of private information of the Ministry

2) Using strong usernames and passwords to enter different sections of the portal

3) Withholding of confidential information

4) No illegal changes to the Ministry's data and documents permitted

Quick response to information security incidents and events

Reducing the risk of illegal use of information and resources and preventing the loss of sensitive and vital data

Setting goals and executive programs and controlling the achievement of goals in the field of information security by the relevant departments
